Concerning Inquiries

The Baltimore County Genealogical Society, Inc. does NOT perform genealogical research.

Inquiries from BCGS Members will be published in the society’s bulletin, “The Notebook”.

Inquiries from Non-Members are welcomed.
All inquiries from Non-Members will be filed in an inquiry folder in our LIBRARY where they will be available for members and visitors to read them and possibly respond.

All such inquiries must be accompanied by your full name and postal address to facilitate any response you may receive.

The following charges apply for copies of our Vertical File Folders and Books performed by members and visitors.
  • Copies of folders from vertical file or ancestor charts:
  • Digital copies by email, $5.00 up to ten pages; 50 cents a page after 10 pages.
  • Additional cost to send by USPS mail, $5.00 postage and handling.

 

  • Copies from pages of a book in our collection:
  • Pages from a book are limited to up to 10 pages.
  • Flat $5.00 for electronic copies sent by email.
  • $10.00 for copies sent by USPS mail.

Donations

The BCGS library will accept donations of primarily Baltimore City and County material. Other Maryland related material may also be considered.
