November Virtual Meeting
Because of the continuing closure of the Parkville Senior Center due to the covid-19 pandemic, the BCGS board has decided to hold our regularly scheduled meeting on November 22nd at 3:00pm virtually using Zoom.
It is the only way we can continue providing programming to you, our members.
Please save the date and time on your calendars.
We will be providing details shortly concerning the Zoom meeting connection details.
All library research days and meetings are suspended until
the Parkville Senior Center reopens.
“Based on guidance from the State of Maryland, Baltimore County senior centers will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice. County officials encourage individuals to coordinate with senior center staff to ensure they are prepared for the closure, and we encourage those individuals to call the Maryland Access Point hotline at 410-887-2594.”
- Topics at our general meetings include society news, projects, additions to the library, financial status, and golden nuggets.
- Guests and new members are invited to share family names of interest.
- A short break with refreshments is then followed by a presentation from our featured speaker.
