Maryland Public Record Death Certificates
Baltimore City (1875 – 2014)
Maryland Counties (1898 – 2014)

  • Up to 5 certificates: $10.00
  • Five or more certificates: $2.00 each.
  • Maximum limit of 20 death certificates per request.
  • Certificates will be sent by email as PDF or JPG.
    Baltimore City Death Certificates (1875 – 1949) will be sent as a JPG and cropped.
  • Requests must include name at death, date of death, county of death, and certificate number.
    Note: deaths in Maryland counties (1898 – 1968) do not need the certificate number.
  • Payment may be made by check or by PayPal.
  • If you want printed certificates sent by USPS mail, then shipping and handling is an additional $5.00.
  • Death certificates are not certified.
  • If you need a certified death certificate, you must order it from → Maryland State Archives.

  • Attach the order form (pdf file) to an email and send to: sales@BaltimoreGenealogySociety.org
  • You will receive an Invoice by email with a link to pay with a credit card via PayPal.

Buy any book published by the Baltimore County Genealogical Society, and pay for shipping, and receive 2 FREE Public Record, Maryland Death Certificates (not certified), 1875 – 2014, when you provide the name at death, date of death, county of death and certificate number, (deaths in Maryland Counties 1898 – 1968 we do not need the certificate number).

A book order is not needed; we will provide five (5) Maryland Public Record Death Certificates 1875 – 2014 for $10.00 sent by email as PDF or JPG. Baltimore City Death Certificates 1875 – 1949 will be sent as a JPG and cropped. The request must include name at death, date of death, county of death, and certificate number (deaths in Maryland Counties 1898 – 1968, we do not need the certificate number). For orders of more than 5 Certificates, the price is $2.00 each. Limit 20 death certificates per request. Payment may be made by check or by PayPal, with Maryland residents paying 6% sales tax.

If you want us to print the certificates and send them by snail mail, the shipping and handling fee is an additional $5.00

The death certificates are not certified; if you need a certified death certificate, you must order it from the Maryland State Archives or visit the archives in person.
